Written by

Youth, the time to discover and explore ourselves and our beloved world. It is when we start to figure out what we want to do in our lives, should we just keep chasing after the things our society wants or should we just follow what our hearts tell us to do. While we are struggling to find our aspiration, passion or even short-term goals, these young people have made it.

His work has been featured on the cover of Art South Africa magazine and he featured prominently at the recent 1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair in London. His work exposes a sense of the body, structure, ideology, and politics, which make audiences feel a hybrid construct with no limit in cultural identity regardless of geographical origins, ancestry, or biological disposition. His bold style and sense of humor have shaped contentious issues in contemporary culture.

Kiesza

Ballerina, sailor, sniper, code-breaker, jazz scholar, model, pop writer, this 26 year-old- Canadian young lady has tried them all. As one of the most rising artist recently, Kiesa Rae Ellestad now settles down to be a musician. “Hideaway,” which was composed and recorded in a couple of hours, was among top 12 bestselling single of the year in the UK with its catchy rhythm and undebatable choreography. Having been trained to be a ballerina since the age of 3, Kiesa had an injury that made her give up the ballerina dream when she turned 15. Not giving up, she tried sailing, racing, and even entered the Canadian Navy in which she specialized in code-breaking. Later, as she bought a guitar and learnt to play it on a boat, she applied for a music college by sending them her demo CD, and that was the moment when her life was completely changed. This young lady is an example of girls, and youth in general can do anything they want, they can try anything, and be anyone they want to be.
