Indigenous people are welcome to apply for the fully funded fellowship in UN. The programme contributes to building the capacity and expertise of indigenous representatives within the UN system and establishing mechanisms to deal with human rights in general and indigenous issues in particular, so they are in a better position to protect and promote the rights of their communities at the international level. The deadline to apply is on 30th of June.
Young people from all over the world are welcome to apply for the Smart Energy Challenge 2017. The challenge dares you to think of alternatives for how to influence others to live more sustainably by reducing energy use. In particular, this competition focuses on sustainable energy that tackles 3 of the 17 United Nations goals: Goal 13: reducing climate change, Goal 12: ensuring sustainable consumption patterns, and Goal 7: establishing reliable energy sources. The deadline to apply is 22nd of August.
This year's Just Music Festival will take place between 20th June and 9th July in various venues around the Italian capital. Popular Ex Dogana will host most of the events, while some of them will take place in the prestigious MAXXI Museum and at Spazio Novecento.
