Create Your Own Startup with Norwegian Young Sustainable Impact Programme

Young people from all over the world are welcome to apply for the Young Sustainable Impact Programme. The aim is to create a real startup that helps solve the sustainable development goals and are economically viable. Brilliant individuals will go through 5 modules and 10 objectives in 5 months in international teams of three people. The deadline for round 1 is on February 15th.

The programme offers knowledge and tools in innovation, creativity and leadership. Participants are trained to operate their own startups, as well as going from nothing to a fully-fledged startup in 5 months. Participants will meet the entrepreneurial community of Oslo, Norway, learn about and get training in creativity, innovation, teamwork, and leadership; learn to work online, with a diverse team; and get access to a huge network of young talents and a community of driven people.

The programme consists of five modules including Team and leadership; Research and Empathize; Ideation and conceptualization; Re-shape, Retest, Repeat; Build brand and prototype.

The distance part of the programme will take place on March 25 – August 12, and then participants will meet in Oslo, Norway for the two-week intensive on August 12 – August 26, 2018 with all the expenses covered including flight and accommodation.

Main criteria

  • The programme is open to citizens of all countries;
  • Applicants must be 16-25 years of age;
  • Participants will need to commit 15-25 hours a week for the duration of April-August.

The organizing committee is looking for dedicated people with a real drive for solving the world problems; people with a proven track record of excellence in resilience, drive, and who are passionately able to use their skills and knowledge towards a project of any kind.
