Young entrepreneurs from all over the world are welcome to take part in the Global Startup Competition in Turkey. This is a competition for active young adults who are proposing new businesses that have yet to raise any outside capital from angel investors, venture capital firms, or other formal sources of seed funding. All applications must be submitted by September 30th.

The competition is open to entrepreneurs from all business sectors.

The finalists will compete for a grand prize trip to the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) in Istanbul, Turkey in 2018.

Main criteria

  • Competition is limited to companies that have been incorporated for a period of less than 18 months;
  • The winners will be selected by a panel of judges who will look at a range of criteria including growth potential, the sponsors’ passion, creativity, level of idea development, and their pitching skills.

The finalists will receive feedback from investors and experienced entrepreneurs and will participate in the GEW People’s Choice online voting during Global Entrepreneurship Week November 13-19, 2017.
