Knight-Hennessy Scholarship For Graduate Programs At Stanford

Students from all over the world are welcome to apply for The Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program. The program is designed to attract the most promising future leaders from all disciplines and countries to Stanford University. The deadline for submissions is 27 September.

The Stanford education of Knight-Hennessy Scholars is fully funded. The Knight-Hennessy Scholars program funds up to three years of graduate study. If the degree program exceeds three years – such as an MD or PhD program, or a Stanford dual- or joint-degree program – then the candidate’s Stanford home department will fund the remaining expenses to the extent consistent with its standard funding commitment for that program. The University will give priority to applicants who are pursuing graduate programs that last more than one year.

Main criteria:

  • Candidates are eligible to apply to the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program if they apply within four years, and enroll within five years, after they earn their first/bachelor’s degree;
  • Candidates who are still in college studying for their first/bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply as long as they complete their first/bachelor’s degree before enrolling as graduate students at Stanford;
  • Candidates must complete the entire application process for their department – including any standardized test that their discipline requires (GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, etc.);
  • English proficiency test.
