Microsoft Imagine Cup 2018

Students interested in software engineering from all around the world are welcome to apply for the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2018. For the past 16 years, the Imagine Cup has been the world's premier student technology competition. The deadline is on 31st May 2018.

Since 2003, Microsoft has provided a global platform for students to turn their dreams into reality. Students from across the globe build amazing teams to bring their biggest, boldest ideas to life. Working with mentors and industry leaders, they get feedback to further hone and develop their projects. 

All World Finalist teams win an all-expenses paid trip to the World Finals, where they will compete with the best and brightest teams from across the globe for the title of World Champion, up to $100,000 cash prize and the chance to take home the Imagine Cup!

With pricing that includes mentorship opportunities with industry leaders, an Azure grant and cash, Imagine Cup can help you take your project to the next level.

Main criteria

  • Candidates should be at least 16 years of age;
  • Actively enrolled as astudent at an accredited educational institution that grants high-school or college/university (or equivalent) degrees (including home schools) at any time between24 October 2017 and 31 May 2018.
