Participants are invited to produce short films that would cover stories of people who are changing communities of megacities though their work. The 2018 edition of the festival will take place in Paris in mid-October 2018. Finalists will win a round trip tickets and three nights in a Paris Center Hotel.
The filmmaker should include in their documentary film at least one of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
- Applications are open to all individuals;
- Works should fall into one of the two categories: The Best Documentary and The Best Reportage;
- Films should be no longer than four minutes including the closing credits.
Filming must take place inside the urban area of one of these 38 megacities:
Tokyo, Jakarta, Delhi, Seoul-Incheon, Manila, Mumbai, Karachi, Shanghai, New York, Sao Paulo, Beijing, Mexico City, Guangzhou-Foshan, Osaka-Kobe-Kyoto, Moscow, Dhaka, Cairo, Bangkok, Los Angeles, Kolkata, Buenos Aires, Tehran, Istanbul, Lagos, Shenzhen, Rio de Janeiro, Kinshasa, Tianjin, Lima, Paris, Chengdu, Lahore, London, Bangalore, Ho Chih Minh City, Nagoya, Chennai, Rhine-Ruhr.
