Applications are now open for those interested in taking part in the Social Enterprise World Forum 2015 in Milan, Italy. The event will take place July 1st until July 3rd and is the 8th edition of the Forum and its first time back to Europe after the launch in Edinburgh in 2008. The official theme of the event is “Growing a New Economy.”

Did you know that tradition of formal balls is still alive in the 21st century? Ball has a very unique tradition in the Czech Republic. Even every small town and village in Czech has its own ball. For local youngsters it is an excellent occasion to meet friends, chat and of course dance.
The last day of January was a really special one for the Balkan youth and Balkans Let's Get Up!, one regional program which brought young people together and helped them to make a change in their society in a very inventive way. Energetic alumni and organizers of BLGU! program expressed their desire to make a joint action and do something interesting in their surroundings, and in a same time, spread the word about the Organization which had such a big influence on them. Youth from seven cities came up with different ideas for mini-projects which they developed on 31. of January.

Applications are now open for a paid volunteering opportunity in Germany for those who are interested in helping people with special needs. The interns will stay in the country for 12 months, experiencing the German culture and getting to know the mindset, work ethic and social structure of the country. The deadline for applications is February 28th.
Applications are open for foreign undergraduate and graduate students and PhD candidates. Applicants for scholarships may be permitted for research visits, such as either attending non-degree courses of their choice or pursuing an independent research activity depending on their qualifications and preference, or for study visits at one of the Czech public institutions for higher education. The scholarships are fully funded and the deadline for applications is March 31st.
